Dealing With Post-Divorce Conflict?

Some people divorce thinking it will lessen the conflict in their lives. Imagine their surprise when they find that after the divorce the conflict continues.

Are you one of those people? Are you constantly feeling defensive because your ex criticizes the way you are raising the children or complains about the amount of child support they pay? When this happens do you feel your adrenaline start to pump and a need to set the record straight?

You aren't alone. I know the last thing you want to hear is that it "takes two to tango" but it does. The best thing you can do for yourself and the situations with your ex is, take a step back and refuse to engage in the conflict. If you can do that and put into action these tips for resolving conflict life will be easier for all involved.
