The NFL has seen some big changes on last year's top teams. Who will be most affected? And what does the preseason mean, really?
We're just a few weeks from the start of the 2013 NFL season, and it can't get here soon enough! Outsports got its start in 1999 focusing on NFL coverage, and it's still Jim and Cyd's favorite sports league.
Every year at least one team goes from worst to first in its division. We look at all eight fourth-place teams from last season and examine which ones are most likely to rise to the top of their division this season.
We also take a hard look at the Seattle Seahawks, who are the darlings of many prognosticators to head to the Super Bowl. Jim thinks they have a great shot, but Cyd has doubts that start with their road schedule and their head coach.
And while we're both excited to see what our favorite teams -- the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots -- do this season, we know they've each had some changes that leave their future up in the air.
