Delaware - Race #4 - Post: 2:36pm - Maiden Claiming - 6.0 furlongs on the Dirt. Purse: $22,500 Class Rating: 84

Rating: Golden DollarGolden DollarGolden DollarGolden Dollar

#5 CODE PURPLE (ML=6/1)
#4 RAIL BENDER (ML=3/1)

CODE PURPLE - I like when a race sets up this way. This gelding has the lone early speed to bury this field. Sub-par try last time out at Monmouth was due to the off-going (he ran ninth). Should do better in today's race without a sloppy track. RAIL BENDER - Rocco comes to race after getting to know the colt in the last event. Horses that finish 2nd in Maiden races and finish well ahead of the 3rd horse are generally good bets next time out. Another way to assign class is earnings per race. This horse has the uppermost in the group. I think he'll be close at the finish.

Vulnerable Contenders: #3 GRINNING GANG (ML=2/1), #8 PROPER VILLAIN (ML=4/1), #2 SELECT FOR MONEY (ML=8/1),

GRINNING GANG - No good fortune for this horse in a short distance race over the last 60 days tells me that this gelding is in a tough situation PROPER VILLAIN - This colt notched a speed fig in his last race which probably isn't good enough in today's event. SELECT FOR MONEY - 8/1 is not offering enough value for any entrant in a sprint of 6 furlongs that hasn't finished in the money in a short distance contest of late.

STRAIGHT WAGERS:
Putting our cash on #5 CODE PURPLE to win. Have to have odds of at least 9/5 or better though
